Welcome
I hope you find this site helpful for the Home brewer and craft beer drinker. If you haven't already guessed I'm a home brewer (Yes, I’m one of those who never shuts up about how great it is making and drinking their own beer.)
I'm a hobbyist, and the reason I maintain this website is not to teach brewing, or to suggest that my way is the best way but to give some examples of what I’ve learned. I hope that by showing some of what I’ve done, and how I do it will help with your brewing.
Brewing beer is my hobby, my golf, something I can create for fun and enjoyment. I really don't get too much into the science of brewing, and I will usually only suggest methods that I have tried myself or have seen and like.
The best thing I can tell you is to "Keep It Simple”. Don't try and re-invent the wheel. There are many good books and websites out there to learn about brewing or how to improve your brewing, visit and read them all, then decide on a method that fits your style of brewing. When you make changes (not if) make little ones and only change one thing at a time. That is the only way to find out if the change helped your brewing, and remember we get to drink all our mistakes, so start making them. POST!
